ORIGINAL: ShadowDrake

ORIGINAL: Murdoc

why the hell would you put sequentials on a mustang? are you going to put underglow and flashing lights on your hood too? ****in rice.
Get your head out of your ***.

You don't need to be so hostile, you don't like it? Don't post. There's far more members on the site here with sequential tails than you think.

You can make your own kit, you'll need some knowledge about simple electronics (555 timers, how to solder, etc). I have the meter4it kit as well. It's a bit much for me to explain here, but basically, the outside and middle lights go to their high setting when braking/using turn signal. The inside is only ever on the low setting, but its connector has a spot for a high setting as well, just plug it in and it will work. Switch the positions of the middle and the inside and do not modify the new inside, as a failsafe. The rest of the wiring is pretty simple.

I just found it worth it to buy the kit... I'm happy with it.
Dont worry about Murdoc & his comments. He IS Mudoc any way. Taking car/ appearance advice from Murdoc would be like getting parenting advice from Brittany Spears & Micheal Jackson.

I too bought the meter4it kit off of ebay last earlier this year. Took about 1 hour to install and works fine. BTW... put some clear packing tape on the top of your bumber and on the taillights to prevent scuffing.

Default RE: Sequential Tail Lights?

Just finished installing the sequential tail light harness on my '07. Believe me, very easy about 20 mins. per side and I'm not a "mechanical" guy. Showed my neighbors and they all thought they were very cool. Reminiscent of the old Cougars, etc....
Here's my question.
When you remove the panel located in the truck that hides all the screws, harnessetc.. and then go back to reinstall those same plastic fasteners some of them broke and will not re-attach. They arealmost like what I'll call plastic rivets. where can I buy new ones? Do they sell themat Ford dealership parts Depts.? The two main fasteners that hold this panel on arent even threaded. They "unscrewed" to come off, but there's no threads to screw them back in?
Thanks,
S -
