I don't really see why you need IRS, unless you're doing road racing of some sort

The Cobra guys switch because there not smart enough to learn how to drive (launch) with the IRS. And the Internet tells them they need to put a SRA in and all there problems go away[8D]. Think about it there are MUCH more powerful car out there with IRS and no problems

ya but those cars also dont have a irs system that was desighned by for the chevy has been workin with irs for years were as ford was still new at it thats why they dont have as much of a problem. im not saying lunching the cobra irs isnt possible i just dont see why anyone with a gt would waist there time and money to swap out the live axle for one. unless your gonna run autocross or road tracks its simply not worth it
