Thanks for the info. I guess thats somethin that I will have to remember when I buy a new stang down the road. I guess thats just another thing that the old pushrod windsor has on the modular motors!

Happened to me on the #3 cylinder last week while I was accelerating onto the freeway, plus it destroyed the coil/plug boot too. I had never heard of this problem before now...but after reading about all of the complaints and mechanics testamonials, Ford really should do the right thing and issue a recall. Andafter looking around it seems that the only way to fix it is to replace the head, or spend $450.00 on the kit from Full Torque for their kit toput an insert into the damaged hole because a regular helicoil won't work.
