The odd thing is it only drips after it's been driven. It will leave a little puddle I'd say maybe 2" X 4" and then it stops dripping. What types of things can leak only when driven in the transmission? Does the rear seal only leak when it's driven if it's faulty?

Did you ever get this leak resolved? Sounds like they may have slightly over filled the trans after the flywheel install. If you can get under the car enough to see the DS where it goes into the trans and its not leaking there see if you can find the vent, it will most likely be your leak. Just check the fluid level.

Bet you thought I was just a d

just do the seal. Its leaking. End of story. U will be very relieved when its done. It was on the o2 sensor because the driveshaft flung it over there. Just dont think too much into it. If its not the prob u still have a new seal and it only cost u < $20
