Default Quick QUESTION

ok so i jus got home from work, and my tri ax shifter came in yay. but anyway i was reading the instruction as an overveiw and realized that is say this as step eight. 8. apply a thin bead of siliconegasket maker to the transmission mounting surface.
this is not supplied should it be? and if not what could i use or where could i get some?? thanx in advanceguys

Any hardware or autoparts store will have it. It comes in a tube and is like 6 bucks. Just go get some, it's always good to have some on hand.

Make sure you get the High Temp kind. I think it is usually red, but double check on the package.

Any Color is fine it dont get hot there. I like black or grey it just looks better. Now if you need some serious RTV then go to the Ford dealer and ask for a tube of the Diesel grey stuff. It is used in caulking gun and is bad A$$. Make sure before you put it on that surfaces are spotless (no grease I use brake cleen on a claen rag to wipe it off first) and it only takes a little you are not glueing an elephant.
