Default Problem with Mach 1 Caliper Upgrade?

I just had Mach 1 calipers/rotors installed on my 1999 GT but I noticed that the calipers/pad don't cover the whole rotor surface. Is this the way Mach1/Cobra/Bullit caliper/rotor set up should be??? I attached a pic. Any help would be great. Thanks

Yup, it's on right. I have the same problem with mine. I got the Bullit ones (red, not black) and they do exactly the same thing. The part that is not covered by the caliper will rust. At least, mine did. Eventually, I will put some high temp paint on the part that isn't covered to prevent the rust.

Here's a pic for the reference. This was when it was first put on. The inside is rusted now, though:

Thanks for posting the pic. Good to know I'm not the only one. How is the stopping power compared to stock??? I haven't broken my brakes in yet.

Sorry for the delay, I work a lot The brakes do stop a bit better. If I did it again, I would go with some gigantic calipers though. These two piston calipers do stop better, but I have driven cars with four and eight piston calipers that will lock up the brakes really fast. But for $400, these ones are great!
