spray before MAF?
im looking to do a very small shot of no2 for a little kick in the *** when i want it, somthing like a 50 shot or somthing stupid like that, idk im new with the no2 so im kicking around the idea. in reading other posts ive seen people say with dry kits its a good idea to spray it before the MAF, is this true? does it make a difference, and if so, why? thanks

50 shot is too small, you wont even really be able to tell that youre spraying. not worth the money.
spray right before the TB is what i see the most of.

get a wet kit, don't screw around with a dry one. Just safer and more upgradeable IMO.
How is a 50 shot not worth it BTW? Every single bolton for PI car still won't make 50 WHP, and a 50 shot will more likely than not make an extra 60-70 LB/FT as well. It won't be as much as a 100, but going from say a 260 WHP full boltons car to making 310 WHP will be a hell of a difference, not to mention going from 300 WTQ to 360 WTQ.

And he already has 300 rwhp now, so 350rwhp is real nice. That's only 30 or so hp away from stock Termie territory.

RE: spray before MAF?
man to the one who said 50 wont tell a differece have u tried it... i have a ran 50 shot dry got alot of my info from nitrousbob here on the forums he is a great guy. 50 shot u will be able to tell u wont be able to run against a ss i dont think i can a cobra with my 50 shot and blots on i got him so bad he didnt wanna do a round 2. but wet is alot safer. if u do dry make sure u do it before the maf becuase when u spray u want to freeze it so it tells the computer to add more gas. these r the word of nitrous bob.
i have some pics on how i had my setup. but if u do it before turn the jet away from the maf

RE: spray before MAF?
I am assuming heads n cams yelw02GT? If your set on the dry, I have also heard before the MAF b/c all the MAF does is apply voltage to the wires in the airstream and the more air that moves past the MAF into the TB, the more NRG is required to warm that wire back up, so with a cold shot, itll dump more fuel in, like sleeping said, DONT point directly at MAF
