the timing all looks right.Do you still have the spark plugs in. You know that with the spark plugs in it will be easier to turn at times (intake and exhaust strokes) and hard during the compression stroke.

i understand it would be harder to turn but it just completely stops, there is no turning it with all my might hehe... im gonna try to pull the cams in the morning, from the looks of it the #1 cylinder valves are both shut the way it sits right now. i think pulling the cams and seein if itll turn will help me conclude if it is the timing or not and give me at least a direction to go in, ie. bent valves, timing, somethin in a cylinder, etc. i'll also check the piston location as well and update any new information i have to maybe help u guys help me figure this crap out

just for clrification, there's no way, on these cars,a starter or auto trans could lock up and cause the motor to only turn a lil then stops is it?

Did you Try putting it in neutral, that may do it, is the car on the ground or on jack stands?

its on the ground and is in neautral... i went out yesterday and tried messin with it, verified #1 is at TDC, redid the timing, same results... im pullin the cams next because this point im 99% sure its a piston to valve contact but i just cant for the life of me figue out why it would be doing that...im also pretty sure the contact is on the driver's side head but will know more by tonight
