i have a 98 gt and iv noticed its been poochie lately and isent gettin very good gas milage at all. i hooked a fuel pressure tester to it and it barley read 30 lbs. so im guessing its the fuel pump.i changed the fuel filter and didnt help. iv aslo had my check engine light come on and say.. fuel adaptive at limit and fuel switches indicate lean. so woudl that be my fuel pump? and how can u tell if its goin bad? please help! thax

yup, its most likely ur fuel pump. i had one wear out in my tbird. i had it changed out and it was problem solved. my tbird was around 27 psi lol but the gas mileage didnt get any worse...that might just be u haha.

Well possibly damaged lines/pump. maybe somthing with your vavles/fuel injectors?

Is this a sudden occurence or more of a gradual thing?

well it didnt just happen right away. its been bad for a while. wat would it be if it was sudden> and wat about gradual? im justguna replacethe fuel pump and hope it fixes it
