Default PI Manifold & Cylinder Head Swap

I read the sticky on the installation of the PI intake on an NPI head and I was wondering if anyone has pics or instructions on how to swap the heads and the intake to PI? I will have the PI manifold and heads from a Mustang 2003 (5000 miles) shortly and I want to start to prep for the operation. Any guidance would be appreicated.

Thanks,

Jag

well the pi intake swap, tells you how to get the manifold off and put it back on, but im sure someone has something to guide you with the heads and timing of the engine

HAHAH:

20 hours: eh, in all reality, thats probalby about right..i took more, damn amateur
Difficulty: difficult/red warning/terror level high:..eh.. not soo much.. in all honesty, I did the passenger head, and it was a lot easier than I expected

tools....aside from your normal big craftsman set..impact wrench/crank pulley puller/installer is ABOUT all I can recall.

that kit though,

all I see is exhaust manifolds/head gasket.....and it's only one side

you'll need both sides for the intake/exhaust/head gasket/valve cover gasket/timing chain cover gasket...etc..

that list is hoping you re-use A LOT of stuff you shouldnt

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. I will order the kit from Steeda. I am kind of worried about the timing is the 4.6L engines have such tight clearance. I am worried I will bang a valve or piston head. You almost have to be right on.
