It might be the intake manifold, it could be cracked and could be leaking antifreeze. That happened to me and once i looked underneath the hood with the engine running i could see antifreeze squirting out of the crossover, it had a little crack in it, i replaced it with one with analuminum crossover intake manifoldand havent had a problem since. You could try replacing it with analuminum crossover intake manifold and see if that stops it. It wasnt too hard to put the new intake on.
Well I had it running and I can't see any leaks anywhere, is it possible that it's a very slow leak or something? I'm sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure what the problem is before I begin ripping things apart, heh.

There could be a slow leak, is there any antifreeze spraying on the hood when the hood is shut? Dont worry about asking questions, thats what everyone is here for, to try to help you out. When my intake manifold was leaking there was coolant everywhere underneath the hood. I dont want youripping things apart either and finding out its something else.I drove mine with a crack in it for like 3 days cause i had no idea what itwas theni checked everything else and everything was fine but i could tell that most of the coolant was coming somewhere from the front of the engine because my alternator had coolant on it also. So after inspecting the intake manifold crossover i could see where it was leaking and i replaced it with one that has an aluminum crossover. I dont know what else it could be thats all ican figure it would be hope this helps out. Like i said i dont wantyou ripping into things and find out its something else. But if you want to try getting a new intake manifold with the aluminum crossover thats up to you.

Have you found out what is it yet or are you going to go with buying a new aluminum intake manifold?

I'm still not quite sure where it's coming from, the hood was dry, everything was dry, but those four spark plugs are still soaked, intake manifolds are expensive, could it just be the gasket or would I have to replace the whole manifold?

My 98 has the same problem... leaks maybe a cup of coolant every three months and has the same spark plug issue. the manifold is actually cracked where the hose mounts on it in the back on the passenger side. barely leaks at all but after time it is noticeable. Check there.. you will need a flashlight. I thought mine was just loose at first until i took off some parts to get a closer look. Your problem sounds just like mine so I am pretty sure it is something very similar.

It wasnt too hard, it took me and my buddy a day to do it. Just make sure you lube the fuel injector o-rings, and take your time with every thing and make sure you dont get anything down the intake ports. Good Luck on the install, if you need any more help let me know.
