im in the same boat, trying to decide. im pretty set on the vortech kit since i will be doing the install myself. seems to be alot of info on the vortechs floating around.

thanks for the info guys.... but can you guys that actually have or have had either one of the S/C give me some +or -feedback?cuz ive read that prochargers tend to have small leaks and idk if i would really like having to change my engine oil thenthe S/C oil? So jus give me sum opinions on the actual units plz that would really help... thanks

Tim's tune with the mongoose kit is suppose to be very safe. The procharger has the IC which will help out if you live in a hot climate. Either way you go you can't go wrong as long as you go to a reputible tuner. It is all about the tune.

And as far as the S/C oil goes you only have to change it every 6000 miles. I dont think its to hard to change. The stuff you have read about leaking, that goes back to the dumb plastic o-ring that people forget to change if its damage or dont check it often enough. Like everything its take maintenence.
