one of mydpfe hoses keeps popping off the sensor everytime i get over 3k or so rpm. When it comes off, it will stick straight up andeven melted the insulation off one of the main cables that goes to all the cops and a few other things from the heat of the hose coming out. I bought a new dpfe sensor (wasn't sure if that was the problem but got a new one anyway because I hear they go bad all the time) and put a small hose clamp on it,so instead this time it popped off the bottom end. I put it back on and have to baby it everywhere I go or else it will come off again.
Now, about a week or so I hit a friggen concrete block that was sitting in the road and it hit the driver side cat and put a dent in it. Could this be related? I was thinking maybe it could have pinched it or something causing the hose to have too much pressure and pop off, but I really have no idea. And, a code for defective converter came on too.

sounds like a restricted cat causing too much back pressure, those hoses never just pop off. looks like its time to invest in a catted x pipe
