i would like to know some advice on a future purchase of an intake system. I know some good cold air kits and what not, but i dont know the good stuff...i just know what comes in the magazines...so help me out, lemme know what u prefer, for performance wise

Personally, I like the K&N FIPK(Fuel Injector Performance Kit). There are other ones out there also, Densacharger, BBK etc. They also have about the same gains, which is not much.

I have the K&N FIPK too and am pretty satisfied (although I might have gone with the Densecharger if I could do it all over again).

The full length densecharger with the MAF seems to be the most popular choice but it's pricey. I have a UPR CAI...it's cheap and it works just fine for now.

Yeah the desencharger seems to be the best, it gives the best aomount of hp than any other CAI...

If you dont mind the installation, get a fenderwell mounted CAI, like a BBK CAI. The advantage is that you are getting the cool air from the fenderwell and not the hot air from the engine compartment.

P.S. Don't mean to hijack, but Jimmz, what suspension mods do you have??

I still like my C&L set up. Does me no wrong and the whole kit was I think like $350-400.
