I got my new forged pistons and rods and had my crank grinded. (stage II heads are on their way! ..and stage II cams)And when i ordered my pistons and rods kit the guy said i need to balance it. Im not sure what he was really talking about, ha.

What do i need to get balanced and where can i go to do that? Also what is balancing??

any local engine shop can 'balance' them... it's basically the same thing as balancing your tires. You have to make sure they're even because they're gonna be going at high speeds and any offset in weight can cause such a terrible vibration that the motor might just rip apart.

what they do is find the lightest piston,rod, and crank throwand make the rest of them the same weight, so there's no out of balance vibration.
