I started to do the same mod, you can always take the easy out, I did, I build a 04 aluminum Cobrablock with a forged steel crank, H-beam rods, forged pistons, and stage 3 heads. The short block is good for 1000-1200 hp. and cost approx. $4000. the heads where $1,500. I paid a little more now but i'll save alot more later. Everything bolts back on, such as the supercharger, headers, the intake (Edelbrock Victor Jr EFI) and with 15-20 psi this motor should make over 600 rwhp. 25-30 psi ??? rwhp
