just try cleaning the iac first before retuning and replacing filters and stuff....cleaning the IAC is free and i would bet a paycheck it would solve your problem

and can't cleaning the IAC mess it up? or is that the MAF i'm thinking about?

RE: car died while coasting in neutral
yea fuel filter should be replaced anyways...but cleaning the IAC isnt bad either and is most likely his problem...and yea you can mess up the MAF, but the IAC is fine to clean
and fuel filter every 20k miles wont do any harm, but thats serious overkill....

omg i had the same problem about a month ago! mine did it when i would put it in nuetral and coast from about 55 mph. but now i am downshifting alot now and dont pop er into N ne more....but one guy said sumthing about overloading the fuel or sumthin, well what they told me is just to do downshifting rather than cruz in N till a dead stop!

guys....clean your IACs, its simple...mine would die faithfully every single time i would put it in N while hitting an off ramp....downshifting everytime is hard on your synchros...it takes 5mins to clean [>:]
