Ya if I push my brake right to the floor to where it feels funny and clicks, it will make the car idle different... thats why I dont do it.

something tells me that wasnt a factory feature in 99 though....i try not to do it; but i want to know WHY it does it.

Have you checked your powersteering fluid since its a hydroboost brake booster. also does the powersteering pump whine when you turn the will on hit the brakes if not it probably isnt the powersteering pump. What does it do when the car is off.

Im pretty sure my power steering fluid is fine, havent tried pressing the brakes when the car is off. Ill try it in a bit.

my ps it whines a little, i just flushed the system yesturday and it has fresh fluid in it. the brake pedal makes the noise/feeling even when the car is off.
