you have WAY to many doubts in your new found pony, take it day by day and just take care of it. these motors arnt "known" for going bad, if things get neglected or abused they tend to live a shorter life. how many miles on the chasis? o and congrats on the new pony

lets see...valvetrain sux, chain tensioners suck, rods suck, intake manifold sux, sometimes mods can cause some **** to suck on a much higher level also. not to mention they are slooowww...but other than all of that gt's are good cars.

ford messed up with an oil change, and they did a brake job, instead of an oil change while the tech that drained the oil went to lunch. so no oil = spun bearing. ford covered it though, and my engine is warrantied for another 27k or so. as long as i keep the changes recorded and every 3-5k. but yeah. everythings fine on my end.
