Default Hey guys, help!!

Well basically i left my car keys on top of my friends car, he drove off, it went into the street, car ran it over. My key is 2 separte things. 1) The key 2) The rectangular alarm. The alarm is not chipped anywhere, just scratched up, but none of the 4 buttons work when i click them. My car key one side of it is broken off. I can use it to open door, i put it in ignition it, i turn it on , you can like tell the fuel goes in and the car is about to start but it doesnt, and the theift alarm keeps blinking. WHAT SHOULD I DO

Call you local Ford dealer, they will ask for some number off the car that will tell them which keyset you need.

see if you have an alarm button on the drivers side kick panel. put your key in and then press it. might have to turn on the ingnition then hit it then see if it starts.

but like everyone said check with the dealership.

its the passive anti-theft not transmitting from the key to the reciever in the column. u need a key. probably like $50. just bring your key and they will copy it for u, but it then has to be programmed. u dont have a spare key? u might have to have the car towed in. in reality u may need two keys, because if they cant program an "additional" key, which sometimes happens if a working key is unavailable, u have to do an ignition key code erase and reprogram. the only catch if u must program at least two keys after the erase. Sorry if thats all bad news.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna cost more than it should. If you go to the dealer, be sure to take vaseline.
