Default Do I have a shift kit?

Hello all, just recently got a Mustang, a 2000 GT auto, and I had a couple questions that I would hope you all would be able to answer. First, is do I have a shift kit? It shifts relatively solidly 1-2, and on full throttle I can catch a little rubber going into 2nd. Is this normal? The car does not have upgraded gears.

Also, the car has 94K miles, is there anything I should look for to fail/need replaced anytime soon? Thanks

If it shifts crisp from gear to gear like that and it kicks your *** when shifting then you probably do. Try this. Accelerate from a dead stop and then brake around 60 and see how fast it downshifts. If its quick then you certainly have one.

Good advice!
Another test is the 3/4 shift.
if it overlaps and slides into gear you DON'T have one.
