Default problem...

i was on my way home from work when suddenly my car died and when i started it back up it wouldnt idle unless i give it gas and then even when i give it gas its breaking up almost like it has a cam in it...there is no knocking what so ever, didnt throw any engine codes, the oil is clean as a whistle, the only thing is that when i hold the gas in say 2500 and its sputtering or what have you, if i got wot itwont sputter it revs but then when the rpms fall down it dies agian.when holding it at a steady rev it will sound like its backfiring but its coming from around the headers when it does so...i do know that its running a 9.8 on the a/f ratio and when i pulled the plugs (thought that was the problem) they were fouled and it still does it with the new plugs. the car was running some what descent on the 9.8 but i do know thats really rich so any input would be helpful. my mods are in my sig.
