Default how can i find our what axels i have?

28 spline or 31 spline? is that all i need to know when ordering axels also? anything else involved or i should change while im doing them?

If they are stock, they should be 28 spline.

all i need to do is ask for 2000 GT axels? is there any way to tell the difference? also will this be the only thing i need to buy when changing axels?

They are $107 a piece from your local Ford dealer. Axle is the same from 99-04. 94-98 axle won't work, 3/4 inch too short.

If your wanting to go with hardened axles like Moser's or Strange you need 28 spline, because if your rear diff. is still stock then its 28's. But you can change out your diff. like I did(31 spline 03 Cobra) and put 31 splines in there. If you dont plan on building a high horsepower car then I recommend staying with the 28's. Make sure the axles come with the studs and it also wouldnt hurt to change out your axle bearings while your at it.
