yeah i was going to say. i owned one and sold it. some people actually put spacers onthe top of therek-member to lower it down 2 inches to clear. they do it with the intake i own. Then they idk cut the springs, use lowering springs, or they have adjustables idk what they do.

yeah i got my hood when i got the kenne bell. then when i was in the market for a intake manifold for my turbo setup. Logan was the only one that i could use my hood for.

So I don't really get why there would be NO gains even if it works just like the mach 1 's do. Unles you are telling me that the real mach 1 scoop is useless as well?

It is possible but there will be no gains. The only thing you can do it tell people that your scoop is real.
+1, or just get a shaker kit or leave it as it is with it's sort of functional cooling effect on the engine bay.

Slightly more cooler & turbulant air with no place to go. A mach1 hood is no better than a fenderwell CAI.

actually your wrong.... it does provide some entertainment because you can watch your engine vibrate....

Damn, I guess I have to stick with the fakie then. OtherwiseI am gonna try and swap out my hood because I am not usually a fan of mock stuff
