Default Temps with PI motor?

I have a 96 GT that I just swapped a brand new PI (2003) motor into. My question is, what temps are PI motors cars seeing during normal operations? Since there is no numbers on the gauge its hard to say but my car stays almost perfect in the middle of the gauge. Is this normal or am I lean creating some extra heat. I did retain all non PI fuel components.

Thanks

I know this is an easy question someone with a 2001 or newer GT can answer.

The gauge on the dash is merely a dummy light.. It's not a great indicator of what the engine's actually running at.. If it makes you feel better though, my 2000 would run right in the middle of the dashboard gauge, all the time..
