RE: pi head swap question
The stock npi intake is just a bad as the npi heads, best to swap the intake and heads together. The motor shouldnt have to be pulled but its easier to deal with the timing chains and what not, same goes for puttin lt's on there.

RE: pi head swap question
If you get a set of romeo heads, there is a lot less diffences in them, you will still need a pi coolant tube that runs beside the new pi intake instead of trying to go under it. You may need a dipstick I can't remember if I used mine or not. If you get a set of windsor heads you will need bigger timing case cover bolts and new valve covers aswell. It's not a big deal to use either heads, I've got windsor heads on my car. If you new pi intake doesnt have 2 temp sensor holes then you will need to drill and tap a new hole for the second one on the 98 harness, however if you have an updated 98 intake with an aluminum crossover then you can just swap them out if your pi intake had an aluminum crossover.
