no im not going anywhere im sry you wanna bees dont know what your talking about but i am going to stop posting about this subject because 99% of you know nothing at all about how to build an engine1slo85 oxford sxynerd livefast1 and alot of others.

arguing with you guys is like running a race in the special olympics, even if you do win(which you wont)your still a retard.[:-]

im done with this topic if anyone wants to know some real facts about how to build a real engine instead of beleaving these guys bs shoot me a pm
You do realise that "1slo85" had the current record for 1/4 and 1/8 mile 2v last year, and probably would still have it with his old time this year if he still owned the car right?

Completely built to the hilt 4.6L 2v and it made what, 360~ whp right code?

491 WHP... gtfo.there are simply put NO 400+ WHP stroked 2v cars out there, period (n/a). i have seen some completely and utterly wild/unstreetable bore/stroke cars out there, but boring is an entirely different manner, and ALOT more money.

Stroking a 2v does NOTHING. Anything you can do with a stroked 2v you can do better with a stock CI 2v. your talking about adding a mighty 21 ci here folks... on a already poor bore/stroke ratio setup.

so another question. what compression ratio should i go after. sean hyland is under the impression that anything over stock is a waste, stating combustion chamber of the PI heads as the reason. I have read in other articles and books of engines running 11.5:1 and making very impressive numbers. So what say you experts?

Increasing compression will give you gains just not huge ones. You wont be able to run as much timing with pump gas. If this is your daily driver I would stick with stock compression. Sean hyland is right (can't believe I just said that) about the poorly designed combustion chambers.
