Does anyone have a link of a site that sells the seperator plate gaskets with the holes already drilled in their
VAP sells just the plate and gaskets.

Funny thing though, when I took my VB off (2003 GT vert) all the holes in the stock plate were at least the same size as the JModded plate, except for one hole (reverse I think) which was smaller.

In fact, some of the holes in the stock plate were actually LARGER than the Jmodded plate! I had the *mild* plate.

I know for a fact the tranny was never touched because I know the original owner and the yellow plug was still in the pan.

Bottom line, I think Ford started incorporating the larger seperator plate holes in the production trannys, or at least some of them, at some point.

I left the springs and accumulator valves in BTW.
I also put back the stock plate, with new gaskets of course.

My car shifts *sloppy* when light on the gas, like all the stock Fords do, but will chirp the tires 1-2 and sometimes 2-3 if you nail it.

I can chirp the 2 to 3 at full throttle only when I went to the 4.30's. Stock gear...only the 1 to 2 could I do that...butwith my stock gear's2 to 3 was still pretty firm...enough to my liking anyway. The road surface though plays a big factor in traction whether it be chirping or just loosing traction in general ...as the manual guys will tell you the samething. Also it might sound cool to chirp but you want to be able to shift firm and solid without losing traction. That will net you the biggest or bestresults in applications such as e.t. if your taking it to the track.
