RE: Aftermarket Steering Wheel
Here's one of my other wheels, this is also a Grant; it's their 1080 model with the real leather cover (with the same center piece and horn button):

That's Duplicolor's silver wheel paint, 2-3 coats and it's durable as heck. Degrease with Prep-All or similar, and then wipe down with denatured alcohol just before shooting. Make sure the temp is over 70° F because the paint likes to "spit" if it's too cold.Duplicolor has a clear coat wheel paint as well if you want a very glossy finish. Not that you asked, however in my years I have found that Rustoleum's "Satin" series black paint is the best thing there is for both interior and exterior satin finish black. As evidence of this, I prepped my GT emblems and the pony's corral as described above, and "blacked" them out using that paint over a year and 40k miles ago, it has not peeled or chipped in that time.

Yup, they all come off...For the shifter surround/bezel just remove the shift **** and then lift the surround pretty much straight up with your fimget nails under the outside edges, it will pull off.The radio/HVAC control surround has two screws at the bottom that you'll see when the shift bezel is off. Remove those, then pull the bottom of the radio/HVAC surround rearward. Pull steadily and gently and work your way around the perimeter to get each of the spring clips to release. The vents can be pried out using a thin flat blade screwdriver padded with 3 or 3 layers of electrical tape.
