I say forget the KB i wanna get a turbo any help or advice would be nice and how much more hp will i get with a turbo wich one is better i know the price difference whatever but performance guys let me know whats up
turbos going to cost you. first build your engine and rear end to handle the power if your really going to turbo it. when thats done go here

i dont know what car you have but with this set up a GT gets 720 hp and they install tune and everything for the cost so you will never have to worry about getting extra parts or where to get the tune or some place messing up the install. if i had the cash thats what i would do.

Its all in what you want to do with the car mainly street daily driver or strip monster >> the options are endless and its best if you try to plan for what you really want and not to cut corners. That is because the worst thing is when you buy some performanceparts now and end up replacing them for something better or bigger so its best if your not buying stuff twice if you get what i mean
So many variables.... but yeah overall turbo is gonna be expensive, as for how much power u make it depends what size, and how aggressive ur tune is, smaller turbos spool quicker and give u more low end power, but lack the BIG numbers, larger turbos don't spool so quickly but give u BIG numbers in the upper RPM range, personally i don't like turbos for low revving engines, what car are u driving?

Question #1
How big is your bank roll? Without knowing your budget, we can sit here and do all the speculating and internet bench racing we want, but its pointless if you cant afford any of the stuff we're talking about. Look to spend ~5 grand at least in a turbo setup.
The turbo itself (sizing is relevant to motor displacement and power ceiling)
Hot/Cold parts
Exhaust piping
Wastegate
BOV
Intake piping
Install
Tune
Turbo cars have incredible pull once they spool (which is directly affected by the sizing) and unlike a S/C setup you can carry a few tunes around for a few boost pressures and switch them out as you see fit. e.g. - A 10lb street tune, a 25lb race tune, and an 8lb winter tune. Its not uncommon to see turbo cars pick up almost all their time and MPH on the back end of the 1/4 and there is no doubt in my mind that turbos are king when it comes to any kind of roll racing.

There is only 1 IMPORTANT question anybody needs to ask themselves.
Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?
Everything else is just a decision.
