anyone know how to remove the head lights and side markers from a 98 mustang?

The side marker lights have a bolt that holds them to the headlight panal. Remove that bolt and the sidemarkers just pop out more or less. The headlight are a little more compicated and curse ford for not putting the 99+ headlight mounting on these cars. There are three small plastic pieces that expand after they are pushed through the headlight mounting panal. You have to compress them(a real bitch with the tight space) while tugging on the headlight. O yea there is a small black clip in there somewhere that has to be pulled up

 

Yes, the small clip should be on the top prong towards the outside of the light. The prong below that, and the 3rd prong towards the inside of the light both push through the hole they are sitting in. My poor fingers were so sore after putting my new headlights in, use a really long pair of needle nose if you have a set..
