Default gas pedal problem

so i did the free gas pedal mod with a nylon spacer and i started to feel like it went back to how it was with the spacer. it could have just been in my head but anyways i took it off and now my gas pedal rests on the carpet, without any push of the gas the pedal is touching the carpet. it is extremely low to the ground. could someone lemme know if its just in my head and thats how they are from the factory or if something is wrong with it

thank you

What do you mean it went back to how it was with the spacer?

If he did it right then what he tried to do was to have the gas pedal sit slightly higher than it is stock. You put have to wrap a spacer or somehing around the throttle cable in front of the top of the gas pedal. This lifts the pedal higher so it's easier to go WOT. Some people feel that the carpet gets in the way of WOT.

Are you sure the spacer didn't come off?
