Need tranny advice

It's not that difficult to remove the transmission yourself. It's fairly straight forward.
Have you rebuilt a transmission yourself before? If not, I suggest you speak with Darrin at www.bc-automotive.com
He does a very good job with 4R70W's.

The trans is pretty easy, and if you're askin how hard it is to remove the trans from the car, then you shouldnt even be thinkin about rebuilding an auto trans..
Remove the trans, and have it built at a shop, then re-install yourself..
To get the trans out, just remove the driveshaft, h-pipe, starter, 4 torque converter bolts, Undo all the electrical connectors from the trans, support the trans while you remove the cross member, then remove the bellhousing bolts and wiggle it out...
