oxygen sensor

Does any one have any idea what wire coming off the oxygen sensor is the signal wire? or does any one have a wiring diagram of this for me to find it on my own? thank.

If you are wiring an A/F gauge...you DO NOT tap into the wire coming off the sensor. You use the signal waire from the ECU in the right kick panel.

i know that much the wires oming off the sensor are heat shielded, you have to at least tap into a wire after the connector to the harness. or find it from the pcm. i just need to know which one. anyone?

You only tap into one wire on the computer. Let me try to temember. I think it's a gray wire with a green tracer. Let me find out fer ya.

Mr car is an '01 and it's gray wire with green tracer. My friend's is an '02 and his was red with a green tracer.

well damn then thats going to be a problem...i am a mismatch of mustang years. i have a 2003 engine 01 tanny 98 computer and the list goes on. would you know about a 98?

Not a thing. Do a google search on wiring diagrams for the '98 ECU.
