Default getting dyno tune wed. stock motor will 150shot be ok?

i am getting a dyno tune wed and right now i spray 100 shot on stock motor with not one single bolt on so i was wondering if 150 shot would be pushing it? this is a nx plate system and only have 100 or 150 jets. I want to be safe and i think that the 150 would be to much. Am i right? this should keep me below 400rwh so idk.

How many miles on the car? How is the trans? How is the rearend? These is what you need to ask yourself. Me i woukd not go over 125, but you only have 100 and 150 so i would stay with the 100.

the motor has 80k and not sure about the tran and rear. the trans feels fine even spraying 100 shot have never pulled the rear cover. the motor feels fine and has tr-6 plugs and svt focus pump but that is all.

if you have a bottle pressure gauge, and a heater, you can build up higher pressure to make your 100shot feel like a 125.

bigger fuel pump, colder plugs, highest octane pump gas you can get, pull some timing, and let her fly.

whats the worst that can happen right

I see cars 150 over 100 with about the same setup my run .2-.3 faster. I all ways say "get in where you fit in". You start racing cars out of your class and you then start blowing thing up like the intake. that pops when you get on the rev.She sound like a gun going off that will be the intake. Now dont get me wrong it can still happen with the 100, but the higher you go the more of a chance it will happen. How do i know it can happen?it happen with me on the 150.

Yeah those romeo blocks dont brake in until 150+K. Took apart few and they still had cross lining in the cylinder walls. As far as the 150 yeah it will hold the question is for how long? If I was you Id just get a bigger fuel pump and some bigger injectors to handle all that. 125 shot is max I would do on a stock motor with a really good good tune. With a 100 shot you're looking to drop 1 second to 1.2 seconds of your 1/4 mile time.

i was talking to a guy this weekend that was running a 150 shot untunned on stock motor trans and rear end. he has made about 15 passes like this and the only problem he had was he blew up his clutch that same night while spraying.

you have to realize too, nx is rated at the wheel... so that 100 shot, would be like a nos, zex, etc 125 shot or so... go with the 100 man.

im only spraying 75 untill i get it tuned, then the 100/125 jets go in
