Default Bullitt Cluster swap...

Do you have to have to take it in to Ford after you swap the GT cluster for a Bullitt/ Mach 1 cluster?

Why would you take it into ford?

If the numbers don't line up, I don't think there is gonna be much you can do about it. If you recal the speedo it will throw the odo off.

It looks like it should line up though.

BTW, if there is some sort of recal that needs done, I highly doubt that a ford dealer could do it.

I was just wondering if it would be plug and play. Hook it up and it works?! I know the ODO would be off, it would be starting from 0. But I dont care, I will just swap back if I want to sell it.

That would be illegal if the odo only stores the info in the cluster, but im not sure that;s how it works.

I would think that the plugin's should be identical.

I think if you simply plug the Bullitt cluster in your car it will not start due to the PATS. You may have to remove the electronics module from the back of your cluster and install it on the Bullitt gauges. Look on Autometer's website, they have instructions there for this kind of cluster mod.
