But...

CC was an option in '98. It could be that it was pulled from some other car in a junkyard and installed oddly...

more then likely it was a dealer installed option. If it was factory installed it would have been in the driver wheel well. The car was ordered without cruise control and installed at the dealer.

i dont think that the dealer would use that kind of brackets. they would use the same parts as the factory would to install something like that....i would hope.lol if they gave me my car back with something that looked like that they'ed fix it or just remove it completely!!

That is not a CC box... that is the the yellow stang specific restrictor purge valve server control box... the reason why yellow stangs are slower than the rest :|
