Exclamation Fried Head... How did this happen??

No I'm not talking about that fried chicken head someone found in thier McNuggets... It's my passenger side head off my old engine.. Take a look at the pictures.. I really can't think of what would have caused this. I had a couple HLA's go bad and a few of the roller arms come off, I wonder if one of them got jammed between the Cam and the valve.. I'm up for ideas.. Also anyone think a machine shop could repair the damage?

I threw in a picture of the driver's sode head for reference. Take a close look at the discoloration and the gap at the bottom of where the cam slides in at the rear. I rotated the engine around and the cam isn't bent at all... Very strange.

How did this happen?
