I wouldn't worry too much about the limits of specific parts.... If your going into the internals to beef it up, you might as well do everything. Between 370 and 420 is plenty. After that, consider on building up your block.

Depends the condition of your motor, the tune, other supporting mods and how you drive the car. I've read about some motors lasting only a few months at that power level and I've heard of some lasting a couple of years.
Just throwing more boost at the motor is harder on the rods and pistons than adding other supporting mods such as headers and cams. You can also get higher rwhp numbers by transferring horsepower to the rear wheels that is used elsewhere by adding an electric water pump and aluminum driveshaft.
I've also read of guys who are pushing the higher numbers that shift at lower rpm keep stress off their motor. That wouldn't work for me though. I tend to use all that's there.
