Default 01 f250 blower motor

i no its not a mustang but does any one no how hard it is to chang a blower motor for the heater cuz im about to but a truck that need s one so id like to no how dificult this task will be

The blower motor is for everything, the "motor" for the heater would be a blend door motor/actuator.. 2 TOTALLY different installs.

A blower motor is cake dude. Passenger side firewall (under the hood) 4 8mm bolts and an electrical connector. Plus a little rubber boot just yank that off

ok well i talk to one of my friends and he said tht its probly not the motor but the resistor or in the wire harness so how can a check the motor to see if its the motor or the resistor can i just hook it up to a batt. and test or is it a ten million wire pos

Well power usually runs thru the motor then into the resistor. A resister is even easier, its right next to the motor and held in by 2 8mm bolts. Unbolt it and pull it out, I bet on of the coils is burnt and/or broken

A sign of a bad resistor is the blower only workin on one of the 4 settings... Sometimes not at all tho. So if you have power at the motor, but no motor operation check the resistor first.. (I know this sounds weird)

I cant save the diagram straight from the Ford website tonight for some reason so I did a ghetto print screen....shoud still be able to get the idea..
