I`m insured with progressive also. they gave me the best rate and they are pretty quick as far as claims are concerned. i have been with them for last 3 years and pretty satisfied. Currently i maintain liability only on my car so all it matters to me is that I stay legal.

I'm 23 and I pay $143/month for my 2002 GT. Full coverage, clear record and in my own name.

I guess my only question is...how can someone that is only 17 be paying for a Mustang GT and V6 Mustang with insurance upwards of $600+/month. I live on my own and have a great job making good money, but how the hell....

Just go to esurance.com or progressive.com get a quote. I think with esurance.com it will even let you purchase it online not just give you a quote. I am 23 but I am married, I only pay $200 month for my 2000 gt conv. and my wifes 99' Dodge Stratus I live in Norfolk, VA. I have a few points on my license as well as she.

I pay 130 / month for my '00 GT with a flawless history/1k deductible and the good student discount. Insurance sucks.

And I'm 18 by the way.
