Default Quick Injector Question

Right about to order a set of injectors. Do I need an EV1 connection? 2000 Mustang GT. Thanks.

One more question. I assume I need normal/high impedance injectors right? I don't understand what low impedance are for.

Yes, you want high imped! The high imped run 11-18 ohms. The low or also know as peak/hold are around 2-6 ohms.

The imped. is determined by the pcm injector drivers. Most Fords are high. Some earlier cars like the 2.3 SVO were low imped.

Lower impedance injectors open faster and more consistently at high fuel pressures (100+ psi) than high impedance units, and they can also have stronger return springs because there in a stronger magnetic field created to open them. However this requires injector drivers that can supply much higher inrush current than needed to open high impedance injectors.

Higher current capable devices = higher manufacturing cost (and shorter life too), for no real benefit on nearly any streetable engine.

thanks for the help. A lot of guys are selling low impedance injectors cheap. I'm just going to be safe and buy a new set of Siemen 60's.
