Default 98 GT INTAKE ???

Hey all, how can you tell if the intake has been change from the old design to the new one. Is there any visual difference? I just bought this car and am wondering if I should change the intake before it becomes a problem

if you are looking to replace it i have a brand new trickflow intake that i couldnt use because you have to turn the altenator around backwards and it stuck out so far that i couldnt mount the turbo so its just sitting i paid around 900 bucks i believe and im willing to let it go for 500.

but i think if its got the aluminum crossover on your existing intake its been changed im not sure about that though.

under the intake the runners should be really long, the coolant tube under the intake would have to be re routed to the side of the v instead of right down the middle of the v, if you can see in there.

+ 1 That is a NON PI intake. The way you can tell is that the runners arent shaped the same. The pi intake has a sharper curve and is much longer. The other way to tell would be to look at the port shape if its round its NPI if its squarish then its PI.

Mine looks like the one on the right. And it looks like I dont have to worry about the intake for a while. Thanks alot. You guys are great.
