is there anyone here from CT that does body work ive been looking around and everyones been giving me outrageous prices that i cant a afford right now so im looking to find someone that can help me out for a good price and some beer lol helps with the time. here are some pics of the thing i need to take off and weld in the new one. the frame is perfect the rail bar took all the impact thank god i just dont have the tools or the money to get the old one out and the new one in.

does anyone know where the weld points are?

those are usually spot welded at several points, at least in the cars that I have seen (i havent seen them on a mustang yet) If you can see where it loks like the metal is dimpled, thats ususally where the welds are. You can drill those through and it will break the bond. If you are in a really tight fix, I would say f it, drill it off and bolt the new one in. Defenitely not the best way to do it, but if you can't even afford to go rent a welder and some magnets for a day from home depot, what else is there for you to do?

oh yeah, it would be a good idea to trace th eoutline of where the og one is so you know exactly where to put the new one at.
