4v engine install
i am getting ready to install my 4v swap and not sure if i should go from the top or bottom considering i have bbk longtube headers. i have dont this 20 times on a 2v but im sure 4v is alot tighter
it will not go in just fine from the top with the lt headers installed if you have the stock k-member. i tried fron the top and you will either be hitting on the k-member or on the firewall. what i did is took out all but one bolt for the headers so that i could wiggle them around as i lowered the engine into place and once i got them under the firewall i installed the rest of the bolts. it wasnt too bad that way but if you have the equipment to go from the bottom that would be the easiest.
i have a lift i just didnt know how difficult it would be getting the stock k member off considering calipers rack and pinion and ya know the rest..thanks for the input still dunno which would be the best.i have install headers 20 times when it was a 2v but never tried with the 4v..keep the info coming
