[Can't find what I'm asking for through the search function or google...So. Maybe you intelligent folks can help]

I have a 96 GT and I can't find anything on which cam, stage wise, will sound the best. I'm looking for a deep rumble like back in the day. I'm not looking forward to adding any major power adders but am planning for some 4:10 gears and some long tubes. I have the PI intake manifold and the basic bolt ones and full exhaust (Minus headers).

The car has 80k miles and have decided to get new springs and all other parts that goes into cam swaps if it technically doesn't need it.

Do you still have the NPI heads as well? If so, you will be much more limited in cam selection. You will need to use the crower offset retainers to gain some added lift room. My Stage 1 n/a will work with the retainers....and I believe i've had some people use my Stage 2's with the Crower retainers as well on NPI heads. I would consider springs a MUST in your application. Hope that helps some.

I do have non pi Heads. I haven’t heard anything about retainer before so thanks for the post. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks.
