Hey guys, my lower ball joint is making a ton of noise. Has anyone done these before where they can give me a little advice. Also can I get a bolt in type or are they all pressed? Thanks!

I just did them over the winter in my 96. They are pretty easy. I rented a ball joint press from autozone. The factory ones were spot welded in place, but the press still popped them right out. I did not re-weld my news ones back in yet, but if they do not make any noise, I may just leave them the way they are.

Make sure you replace them with greasable joints.

Very easy to do if you have the press and "spindal spreader"(for lack of a better definition). I did mine about 2 weeks ago and it took about 1.5 hrs. Hardest part for me was trying to figure out how the press worked as the kit i rented had no directions. But this is a very easy instal/removal. I used the steeda X2 balljoints and have no complaints what so ever.

ok sweet thanks guys, thats pretty much what i was figuring for em. I am gonna have to go with stock replacement ones cuz i need the car driving by thursday , gotta drive it to milw and back, which is 4 hours each way. But thanks for the replys!
