No flame suit needed for you. I made 450rw for 4k and pulled harder than any NA 4v all the way through. If your car starts with a 2v just build the 2v but don't swap to a 4v then try to mod that unless you really want high numbers unless you just like to waist money.
A modded 2v is way better than a modded 4v unless you're talking about Hp numbers past 650rw. I'd take the lower grunt of a 2v and burn it to 7k making 600rw than a high rev 4v. The 4v make better power stock and more power up top but Tq is what matters on the street so for a 2v to want to swap to a 4v is arguable for the end goals...

just pull the motor get it .020 over put forged internals in it put in a hitech stage 2 cam, get a set of fox lake stage 2 heads and go from there. it will probably be around the same price but atleast you will have a motor to put some power to
