Hood struts...
Does anyone have these?

Are they hard to install? Any drilling required?

I have the Redline hood struts, got 'em on eBay for $50 or so shipped a year or so ago--they are great!
They are easy to install, but do require drilling 4 holes--2 on each side--in the inner fender for the lower brackets (actually they provided self-drilling sheet metal screws), and drilling 6 holes (3 on each side) in the hood frame for the upper brackets.
The upper brackets are riveted to the hood with the supplied, and very substantial, steel pop-rivets. As the hood is of fibreglass/resin composite construction the 3/16" pop rivets are a preferable fastener.
