Default Can stock shifter bolts be reused?

I was wondering If a can bolt down a tri-ax ****er with the bolts off the stock shifter. I picked a tri-ax and it was nothing but the shifter.

Usually not.

The new shifter base is probably thicker than the stock one, so you should have gotten new bolts with shifter. It sounds like you didn't, so take the bolts you have to the hardware store and get new bolts that are the thickness of the Tri-axe shifter base longer about 1/4" or so)
